Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

**First to 3 votes wins the championship**

PF: Lewis (38) / Miller (10)
C: Howard (40) / Perkins (8)

87.9/88

Defense:
Straight Up. Lewis will double on shaq.

I have a pretty great defensive team. My wings are loaded with defense, and I am middled by the DPOY.
Jordan and Reggie was a fun matchup back in the day, Miller in 93-94 averaged 17.8ppg against Mike.

White has the tools to be able to work against Rose here, an explosive athlete who doesnt spread the flood, white is elite at blocking shots from behind.

Butler is a great defender for George, and this is younger george and not really peak yet.

Howard is as good a cover for shaq as anyone could have.

Offense should clikc really well with multiple playmakers, multiple high level shooters and an uber athletic bigman. Will be lots of picks and attacks and patented Jordan turnarounds. Shaq was not a great defender in Orlando and we will look to run him and force him to defend as much as possible.

I assume that Reggie is not going to be allowed to defend any of my wings so he will have to defend Lewis, meaning that Rodman (a larger, slower Chicago cersion who defended more centers than wings) will be tasked with taking on either Jordan or Butler. I dont think that works here as both will take him off the dribble.

GL Larry

Defensive matchups: Rose on White, Reggie on Butler, George on Jordan, Rodman on Lewis, Shaq on Howard

- I feel we have talent advantage with having all of Rose, Miller and George arguably makes up for not having Jordan on the perimeter, and we have Shaq.

- Our defense is in decent position as Dwight doesn't have a strength advantage against Shaq, we can hide Rose and we can put a longer defender on Jordan. I'm less scared of Reggie guarding Bulls Butler than the version that dragged the Heat to the finals twice. Rodman will kill Lewis on the boards. His team is not really built to take advantage of Shaq's pick and roll defense.

- Jordan will exhaust some energy running around chasing Miller.

- The benches look pretty close to me, I prefer Korver to Heat Miller and I'd rather play Gortat than 05 Perkins.

Overall we have a few more options on offense with a variety of dominant post play, slashing, shooting. If we can guard MJ well I feel we can slow down his offense.

To be honest, I feel like the Rose-Rodman pair needlessly complicated things for Dr P, as it puts a serious dent in the simple but effective "Shaq + shooting" formula. Instead of spacing being a clear competitive advantage, it's now closer to even given that Bulls Butler was at least willing to fire up some threes. This version of Butler is still capable of attacking the much skinnier Miller. I can see Rodman not being the most disciplined in closing out on Lewis, while conversely Lewis can double off Rodman with impunity. Generally speaking, there's a sizeable defensive gap between the two starting fives with Lewis being Larry's only relative weak spot. Perkins is pretty weak even for an 8 mpg backup, but that's not nearly enough to overcome all Larry's other advantages.

Dr P's build is a bit strange. Rose dominating the ball and driving with Rodman allowing for help on pre-peak Shaq aren't great complements. Jordan is the best player here and has a team more suited to him.

Yeah, I'm with Fade and Laimbeer on this. Jordan and much better defensive matchups gets the win. Vote: Larry_Russell

GG

Shaq in round 2 but costs 20 FGA, hard to build around and needs a non Redick 10s/20s Orlando player
