Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

**First to 3 votes wins the championship**

C: Howard (40) / Perkins (8)

87.9/88

We will defend straight up.
I have pretty bananas defense truthfully with all the tools to work on everyone here. I will at times let Mike and Jimmy swap off onto Caruso and let White take on McGrady and Scottie just for a different look and just to give both Jordan and Jimmy a little rest.

Brown is pre-prime, Walton is post prime, and Caruso is a bench player. My starting lineup is far more talented here top to bottom.

Offensively we will be pretty special. McGrady is not a great defender, nor is brown at this stage, nor is bench Walton.
Howard will dominate in this matchup against both Bill and Myles.
Jordan always dominates

I think I score easier and defend better overall.

Myles Turner ( 2021 ) 9.2 - DPOY votes, led league in blocks
Jaylen Brown ( 2018 ) 11.5 - DPOY votes, 39.5% on 4.4 3PA
Scottie Pippen ( 1996 ) 15.8 - MVP votes, All-D, 37.4% on 5.2 3PA
Tracy McGrady ( 2003 ) 24.2 - Voted above Kobe's peak - RGM PC forum
Alex Caruso ( 2023 ) 4.3 - DPOY votes, 36.4% on 2.3 3PA

Bill Walton ( 1986 ) 5.1 - Sixth Man of the Year
Detlef Schrempf ( 1991 ) 10.1 - Sixth Man of the Year
JJ Redick ( 2010 ) 6.7 - 40.5% on 3.3 3PA, .176 W/S per 48

87.9 / 88.0 86.9

Myles Turner (24) / Bill Walton (24)
Jaylen Brown (36) / Detlef Schrempf (12)
Scottie Pippen (38) / Detlef Schrempf (10)
Tracy McGrady (24) / JJ Redick (14) / Detlef Schrempf (10)
Alex Caruso (32) / Tracy McGrady (16)

Offensively we will hum with TMac stepping into the Jordan role alongside Pippen. Walton and Turner will keep Howard occupied and away from the hoop. Jordan will be taxed primarily guarding McGrady.

We'll go Walton/Turner on Howard, Brown/Lewis, Pippen/Butler, Caruso/Jordan, and TMac getting a bit of a break on White. Howard and Butler aren't great fits for Jordan with Dwight gumming up the interior and Butler liking the iso game as opposed to being a Pippen-type complement.

Our bench blows theirs away. Two superb 6MOY in Walton and Schrempf getting ample minutes and a flame thrower in Redick. Porter and Miller are a bit slowed by this point, and Perkins is awful.

Our superior depth and fit, along with Jordan being taxed fairly heavily, tilt this to us.

Not really buying Brown as a starting 4 (even in his prime let alone his second year), much prefer him defending the perimeter and it leaves Laimbeer light on the boards due to Turner's lacklustre rebounding. Caruso I always think is a bit stretched as a starter playing 30+ mpg. All in all, I much prefer Larry's starting 5 despite weaker spacing. The benches definitely make this closer as this version of Perkins remains an issue for me, but ultimately it's 8 minutes compared to a team with two starters that I consider questionable at the very least.

Jordan is by far the best player in this series and I don't think Laimbeer makes up for that gap with a somewhat wonky overall build with young Brown at the 4.

Butler/Jordan isn't an optimal fit but the rest of that team just seems to fit around him really well.

LR takes this IMO. Vote LR.

I like the offensive fit more around MJ than Tmac/Pippen, and he is the best player in the series. Vote Larry.
