I didn’t think it was optimal, as ideally they operate in the same space defensively, and offensively they’d overlap quite a bit too. I’ve got other ideas for who to put next to Wemby.

Both of them are at their best in a drop scheme. Perimeter D would have been a major concern.

I was seriously considering him next to Giannis. Wemby drops. Giannis roams. That's god level defense! Offense would have been far from ideal though since Wemby hasn't developed a reliable 3 yet.

Bench could suffer here at only about 17 FGA left.

Starting lineup is pretty great though. Elite shooting and defense around Lebron/Steph.

SGA is lowkey kind of annoying to build around in this pool.

Guys like SGA are hard to build around in most pools.

Will be hard to beat that Lebron and Curry team again with those Gobert-White-Williams picks, we deserve it for letting Curry fall to Rd 2

I get why they fell. I’m not seeing anyone picked before Lebron who clearly shouldn’t have. I do think LR should have gone Tatum/Curry but had a feeling they wouldn’t.

Lebron/Curry is just an easy pair to build around to me.

Can’t believe Lakers lost again. They had that game in the bag, AD was killing Jokic. DLO was on fire. Unbelievable

you are probably right about Tatum and Curry, that would be a rpetty awesome combo,

But I was 100% illprepared and went with a speedy, limited prep pick. KP did give flexibility for FGA and I like what I ended up with.

I think Bam and KP make a fantastic front court.
Tatum and Booker on the wings is pretty savage
Great spacing and really good overall defense. not elite, imo, but not a weakpoint.

Kinda surprising that the guy who decided that game at the buzzer will likely end up undrafted. I wanted to select him, but I cannot afford him. :(

Nah, he plays a loaded position and his best moments have come in the playoffs. With only 9 drafters I would have bet against him being picked.

He’s not the only scoring point guard who will go undrafted.

I gotta say, playing this game with only this season really puts into perspective how much the game has changed. 38%+ 3 point shooters are pretty much ubiquitous now at all levels of volume.
