Basketball on Paper and Chasing Perfection

Has anyone read these books? Basketball on paper is by dean oliver and chasing perfection is I believe by andy glockner? Would like to reviews on it if anyone has read it.

I've read Basketball on Paper. I think it's awful, but I say this as someone who's had a lot of experience in this field and can sense the BS.

He's doing a lot of "this metric (by this other guy) is awful because it says player X is good" - a truly heinous statement for an analytics person.

Might be decent for people getting into basketball analytics
