Well, no big names being signed by Chevy (as expected), but we have our captain locked in for another 5 years.

I'm not too familiar with the other 6 free agents we've signed, but none of the contracts are crippling, so I'm ok. Seeing as how they have season ticket holders locked in for the next 3-5 years, I don't really see the point of trying to do a band-aid rebuild via free agency.

Re: Free agency Thread
I really like the Ladd deal. 4.4 a season is pretty reasonable for him.
Out of the other guys the only guys that will probably make a impact next year are Randy Jones, Rick Rypien and Tanner Glass. Jones will be a solid 5th, 6th or 7th defenseman who can contribute on both ends and Rypien and Glass are both 4th line energy guys that bring some toughness.
I wouldn't expect the Jets to make too many more moves in free agency. You guys are rebuilding and you really don't have too many glaring weaknesses that have to be addressed.
