Realistically it will take more than one off season to fill all the holes on this roster.

Pick coming up, Cam Hart ? Edge? LB ?

Maybe IOL ? I’d go here if it were up to me.

I wish we traded back some more and go more picks. It's not like in the NBA where you can just buy picks in the last round that doesn't happen a lot here I don't think.

Looking at edge
Tupuola-Fetui from Washington
Sundiata Anderson from grambling state

UDFA signings are about to start. In past years they never seemed to be able to sign the upper tier of undrafted prospects. It’ll be interesting to see if this new ownership/ front office can do better.

I want to see OL, DB & a camp QB would be fun.

Safety that had size & speed but lacks experience. Hits like a LB.
Potential to be a very good ST player which could give him time to learn and develop.
I think he had a 6 or 7 round grade on some sites

EDIT*
Was not announced officially by the team as a signing, could just be a camp invitation.

So the rookies so far
Draft picks :
Round 1(#2) - Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

Round 2(#36) - Jer’Zhan “Johnny” Newton, DT, Illinois

Round 2 (#50) - Mike Sainristil, CB, Michigan

Round 2 (#53) - Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State

Round 3 (#67) - Brandon Coleman, OT, TCU

Round 3 (#100) - Luke McCaffrey, WR, Rice

Round 5 (#139) - Jordan Magee, LB, Temple

Round 5 (#161) - Dominique Hampton, S, Washington

Round 7 (#222) - Javontae Jean-Baptiste, EDGE, Notre Dame

UDFA rookie mini camp invites

Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame

Austin Jones, RB, USC

AJ Woods, CB, Pittsburgh

Norell Pollard, DT, Virginia Tech

Tyler Owens, S, Texas Tech

Chigozie Anusiem, CB, Colorado State

Michael Wiley, RB, Arizona

Bo Bauer, LB, Notre Dame

Ben Nikkel, S, Iowa State

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, WR, Georgia

David Nwaogwugwu, OT, Toledo

I wish we had traded back more, but I like the players we got no one sticks out as a bad pick. Everyones a super athletic addresses and issue or upgrades something.

Edge is still a supposed need but they filled that with vets. So is it the dominant edge we need. No but its covered for now.

Daniels: needs to add LBs and needs to work on protecting his body and not putting him self in harms way. His arms good and he's accurate enough. He makes the reada when he makes the attempts, but he's need to focus on being a better QB and not so much on being a star athlete.

Newton: odd pick with DT sured up. He's a pure DT too and can't really be put out on the edge. But the kids talented and athlete. And all hell and was with out question the best player available at the time. Even with Cooper falling. We now maybe have one of the most competent and athletics DT rotations in the league.

Sainristil: one of the best pure nickel corners on college football and will instantly be in the mix to be a starter. Specialized and I personally don't care for undersized DBs but his production, athletic ability, and effort are unquestionably there and NFL ready.

Sinnott: good pick up and understudy for ertz who's 456 years old and none of the other TE on the team are worth a ham sandwich for anything other than blocking. He does it all. He's got solid blocking skills, decent enough speed to survive coverage and does running duty as a full back really well. I like my TE with more size or more speed but he's really solid!

Coleman: played about ever OL position at some point. Big, wide, smart and has good punch. Solid pick up and a really versatile piece. I had him as a guard but I think he can survive at tackle. I was on the draft Coleman train for months so I'm very happy with this.

McCaffrey: another guy I was advocating for. Very happy with this. He's almost 6'3 he has decent speed. Reads defences well as a former QB and has good instincts. Athletic as **** like the rest of his family.

Magee: solid size and speed. He's a dog and is a sack getting and a tackle machine. At 6'3 225 he's a bit light to try and convert to edge but he's definitely a dog and a blitz machine.

Hampton: quality strong safety coming off a good season. Built like a line backer and has good ball skills for hi size.

Jean-Baptiste: not the head hunter I was hoping for with sack specialist fetui and Anderson on the board but he's big and fast and twitched up. He plays hard and has decent moves but is a bit dependent on scheme maybe this defensive staff can pull it out of him cu he has the tools.

UDFA
Don't be shocked if a few of these guys stick more than ussual.
It's a new staff and new front office they might be looking to replace some of the fringe bench guys who they didn't bring in with their guys that they like. Be prepared for turn over come cut times. They are all super athletic and you can see AP having a strong theme and mandate for athletic ability

Owens: might be the gem here. I had him as draftable. Runs a 4.3 6'3 215. Speedy, athletic, big, he has all the tools. He lacks starter experience. His issues are technique and knowledge and I think can be worked out. He should make the team.

Hartman: is small but can sling the ball. Don't be shocked if he beats out someone for the 4th QB spot that AP talks about so often. I did not have Sam as draftable, I would have rather had slovlis form BYU

Wiley and Jones: both good pass catching RBs but Jones is probably just a camp body and keep an eye on Wiley. He's got some stuff and is much bigger and faster. Both had decent 2022 almost 1000 total yards pas and rushing seasons then fell off. With out RB room stacked with starting caliber talent 3 deep I don't know if they can make more than the practice squad if that.

Pollard: probably a camp body but if we trade someone or someone gets hurt he could make some noise in camp he's super athletic for his size. Wrecking ball, ran a 4.8 and a 33 inch vertical at a not chubby 290 !

Nwaogwugwu: I had down as draftable with. 6th -7 th round grade. He's 6'5 300 ish and he's nible or a big wide fella. Good foot work. Ok arms and good hands but he's not great at anything he's ok at most things and I think his bend is suspect and he's a little stiff. But he's athletic and strong as an ox. I think he could make the team.

ROSEMY-JACKSAINT: great name but doesn't impress me much. But he's solid, and I like him. I didn't have him as draftable but it was a super deep WR draft. 500 yards and very few drops. he runs fast enough and he's got very good hands. At 6'2 He would instantly be one of our taller WR options and I wouldn't be shocked if he replaced one of our journeyman guys since put WR room is not great past the staters.

Nikkel: only played two years of big college ball. And 2022 was not great. 2023 was solid. It's a smart hard-nosed tackler and decent reader, athletic as **** which matches the themes here could be a steal if he turns out to be the real deal small school transfer gem people think.

Bauer: had a solid college run form 2019-2021 then got hurt fell off and hasn't really played since 2022. Probably a camp invite but if he's healthy he could be a steal.

ANUSIEM: big strong corner at 6'1 200 ish. Like to hit and tackle. Strong and physical and athletic. Not the ball hawk you look for but he's gonna be good doing the dirty work. Camp body with up side.

Woods : good size and speed dirty work physical athletic player. Also not a ball hawk but will do the dirty work. Probably a camp body with up side.

That's the issue with the ron Rivera days. You can't make a dude more athletic, or give them longer arms, or make them go from a 4.6 to a 4.3. AP put an emphasis on athletic ability and try to develop the rest.

Sorry I felt like doing a break down lol.
