Clearly, NBA people have heard something about Noel's wheels. He wouldn't slide like this otherwise. Maybe the NBA guys will be wrong about Noel's knees, but they've heard something to scare them off.

I understand you don't want to hear this if you've been on the Noel bandwagon for months, but obviously he's slipping for a reason that has occurred to more than just the Wizards.

If the Suns pass on Noel, that's really, really bad.

Please be a trade down with NO (who needs a SF) and Noel is there at 6 (assuming Len goes 5).

This has been one of the more interesting and fun drafts I've ever watched. Love the suspense, freakin anything can happen in this draft, and so far it has. PHX has the ideal training staff to work on Noel's body if they take him.

Yes, that's what it is. It isn't just the Wiz. 4 teams that could have used Noel all passed on him. And apparently nobody behind them was willing to trade up for Noel either. The NBA has heard something bad about Noel's wheels. It's obvious.

I disagree. You dont take a role player with the 3rd pick when a potential game changer is on the board. This move is short sighted. Welcome to the 5th seed treadmill wiz fans.

so who are our second round priorities as Noel continues to fall? I made my top 15 list:

My second round priorities utilizing players ranked 20th or worse:

1. Tony Mitchell
2. Rudy Gobert
3. Giannis Adetokoubo
4. Shabazz Muhammad (it could happen, he's falling fast)
5. Glen Rice JR
6. Reggie Bullock
7. Tony Snell
8. Jamaal Franklin
9. Nate Wolters
10. Isaiah Canaan
11. Adonis Thomas
12. Mike Muscala
13. Pierre Jackson
14. Archie Goodwin
15. Myack Kabongo
15b. Alex Abrines

Do not like Murphy or Green.

The main thing would just be if the doctors told you that he had a propensity towards further injury.

So Noel and Biyomba as a dynamic scoring duo was ruled out as poor synergy?

Edit: Noel is DROPPPPING.......

I feel a bit better.

I agree.

Multiple reports say the knee was a nonissue.

Bull pucky. Any orthopaedist worth his weight will tell you these things don't go away.

I think Noel's slide has more to do with his frame and weight than his knee.

Well, if Noel's knee issue is really that scary, no better place for him to potentially wind up than Phoenix.

Exactly, the fact that nobody traded up for him makes it pretty clear that the league as a whole is spooked. Too bad for him.

Considering the Wizards' medical staff couldn't get employment in most developing countries, its maybe a good thing we selected Porter. Its still a good day.

I would've liked to see the Wizards take a chance on Noel, but I'm still happy with Porter.

And I agree, this has been one of the more entertaining drafts I've seen in recent memory.
