Sam Amick tweet: "In Washington's Jordan Crawford sweepstakes, Dallas and Boston are currently heading the group in pursuit of the fourth-year shooting guard."

There's a Jordan Crawford sweepstakes? Not the word I would choose.

with the way Seraphin's regressed, it shouldn't take THAT much of a player to steal minutes from him. Best case scenario is that it lights a fire under his ass and he starts wising up.

Fab Melo never stood out to me as a player at Syracuse though I would always hear his name being mentioned as an important piece to Syracuse's success that year. His college stats suggests he's a good shot blocker, but is he anything more than that? I will be very angry if the Celtics get Crawford with an even swap for Melo. Crawford would be in the same conference as the Wizards and I don't believe the talents are close to being equal. The Celtics made a play for Courtney Lee this past offseason, no way should they get the guy the Wizards targeted and then Crawford without giving up anything.

I would gladly take almost anything from the Dallas roster for Crawford. Beaubois, Wright, Crowder...

I just noticed that Wright is an unrestricted free agent this summer. That takes away from the appeal. If we want him, we can just sign him in the summer. Beaubois was once an intriguing player, but he's too injury-prone and too reliant on athleticism for my taste. You can't count on him. His production fell of a cliff this year, by the way. His PER is 9.7.

Crawford for Crowder looks like the best deal out there. Either that or trade Crawford plus one of our 2nd rounders for somebody else's 1st.

What choice do we have ? maybe its also best to move kevin seraphin who doc likes to and maybe get something else out of deal.

Im actully excited if we get Fab the guys progressed in the D-league and is already a good shot defender its his O that needs to progress . I mean honestly Seraphin does dumb things and regressed so we need a 7'0 player so the bargin might be good but Celtics would needa throw a pick or something Craw is a NBA scorer of the bench.

Can anybody think of any big man who made anything of himself after "developing" in the D-League?
