The Dallas Mavericks don't have any sense of humor. Remember when Darrell Armstrong said "How about those Redskins" and was fined $1,000? What a joke of an organization that has no sense of humor.

And when Dallas finally wins a championship- they don't decide to keep the band together. Mark Cuban cries like a baby and wants to go after the likes of Deron Williams (wow that would have been terrible!) or Dwight Howard. Instead they end up with OJ Mayo, Mike James, Chris Kaman, and not even making the playoffs. Now they decide to bring back their team 3 years later. What do you know Mark Cuban- you could have afforded to keep Tyson Chandler around- Dallas could have potentially have won another title and we would have been reprieved of one less championship by LeBron James.

Also, Mark Cuban twitter account is terrible. I don't care about CyberDust. What the hell is shark tank. No I don't want to try Naked Pizza. No I don't make stupid tweets about Justin Bieber and want an app GetExpire.

Hope to watch Mark Cuban crying in the Verizon center to the refs. Then I will look forward of DeJuan Blair diving into the stands to knock over Cuban and then Blair will kick him in his face when he tries to get up.

Are you stupid as fawk, or do you jut read, process, and write things down like a stupid person would? Hmmmm..... I wrote "Clevelan", and "Wiz"..... Hmmmm..... lets think real hard here, which one am I more likely talking about when I say I left the 'D' out of their city's name.

But, speaking of which, Toronto's going to continue to give the D to Washington real hard this year, just like they already have.

2. You're right. Without our top 2-guard and our back-up swingman we've had some trouble fitting HOFer Paul Pierce next to NBA dregs & reclamation projects Garrett Temple and Rasual Butler. Interestingly both players have suddenly hit for career high 3FG% playing next to John Wall. As did Ariza, and Martell Webster behind him. Seems like a trend, that may look better and better as Otto Porter develops and as we get back, oh yeah top 3 pick SG Bradley Beal, and the aforementioned Webster, etc.

Hey look, a bunch of excuses on injuries, and fitting new guys in. It's a good thing those 'dregs' you were playing weren't going through the same things. Oh wait, Orlando was trying to fit in Frye, and was missing one of their best players in Oladipo. Knicks were missing their starting PG, and PF. Pacers were missing 4 of their 5 starters from last year and are riddled with injuries. I guess you did squeak out a win against that power house 3-8 Pistons team when they were at full health, so you should feel real good about that one.

I'm sure you guys will be better when you get your .500ts% SG back though, everyone knows how valuable those are. Hell, he's 1/2 of the best back court in the NBA according to... ummm.... himself? Anyone else? That isn't hyperbole, I'm genuinely asking if there is a single other soul in the entire world that is this delusional on the topic?

3. Right, absolutely. Stacked up against all the shows set in London Ontario.... Hmmn, okay Toronto... Jeez, well how about Canada which... wait... hmnn... still thinking...

Okay these guys are pretty funny:
Image

I guess you only write what you know. Drunken trailer trash lowlife stoners are a topic y'all have cornered.

Also: Murphy Brown? Is Canada stuck in 1988? (You couldn't have gone with something more recent like Scandal? or Homeland? Or no, I guess you couldn't, since you're talkin' about suck).

But since we have a time tunnel to the late 80's: Hello 1988! You have a lot to look forward to coming up, the Berlin Wall will fall next year, the world will discover a global communications network called the 'World Wide Web' which will soon connect people from thousands of miles away to give them instant free access to information and knowledge (by which I mean 'porn' and 'inane sports conversations with shut-in Canadians who have really nothing better to do with their time'). In important Canadian events, embarrassed to be associated with the country, the province of Quebec will try to gnaw their way out of the leghold trap that is Canadian citizenship, it doesn't work, but oh well, poutine for everyone.

In other relevant events in Canadian history since 1988, um.... I'm coming up with nothing, sorry, this is so hard! Let's try again. Nope! Even that world wide web I mentioned is choking on the concept. I guess you know 'Canadian' and 'relevant' are something of an oxymoron.

I thought making fun Murphy Brown was an obvious joke, but, hey, if we want to go down this road, lets do it.

What has the USA done since 1988?

Squandered the position of being by far the world's top powerhouse, and is now behind China in world economy? You should probably go get a copy of Mandarin Rosetta Stone so you can speak to your new overlords when you are told what to do. Canada welcomes them with open arms, and will gladly burn down the White House if asked to, again.

What else has happened since 1988? I guess GDP per Capita in the USA has gone from being elite, to now a virtual tie with the irrelevant country, Canada.

Hmmm, what else? I guess the USA has fallen well below Canada in the majority of 'happiness indexes' out there, and while we are on the topic of tv shows, the USA has lost a ton of jobs in the film business to their breatheren from the north.

So, what has Canada done since 1988? I suppose we've sat back with our jobs in the film business, generally been happy as anyone in the world, and taken home good salaries, while we watched the USA do-as-the-Romans-did, and spiral down from the perch, which they were once atop.

Here's to you Washington D.C! Congrats on butt **** ing a country that was once great.

Right, because no team ever wants a player under 21 who shot 40% from three his 2nd year in the league, dropping in ~140 shots from deep in his sophomore season in the big leagues. Ranking only 2nd behind MIke Miller among made 3pters among players 20 or younger, ahead of our homey Kevin Durant. Nah, who'd want that?

They'd rather have Demarr Derozan who was already hitting 40% from three when he was um how old? That would be 'never' yrs old, doc. Never did it.

You sure you want to be calling out players for their shooting stroke? Looking at DeDer's 3FG percentage: Holy hell what a trainwreck. Really? Your starting swingman has a career 3pt percentage of 26% ? And in _his_ 2nd year in the league that deadeye sniper had a 3pt FG% of 9.6% By dead-eye I mean his eyes must have been rotting in his head. And if you look at him you see why. Kid is kinda wall-eyed, isn't he? Though that never seemed to hurt former Rapturd Tracy McGrady so what's DeDer's excuse?

As for best back court. The question Beal answered was about best _young_ backcourt in the league, as in developing and improving. Best long term future. Now if he comes into the league and in his 2nd year hits 40% from deep, you think he's going to never get any better? Why even DeMar has improved his outside shot to a stellar uh 30% last year, and keeps improving. Why this year already he's hitting, oh uh... 18% Talk about circling downward around the toilet bowl.

But you could be right. Our record is probably reflective of our ceiling. No chance this team improves long term. Young players don't do that. Why even when we add Beal back surely he'll take some time to bang the rust off. Like tonight when he scored, um, 21 points in 25 minutes, on better than 50% shooting, while playing with a broken wrist.

Or last year when in his 2nd year in the league he carried our squad to the 2nd round of the playoffs, on 41% shooting from 3 (and 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists) against the toughest 2 defenses in the Eastern conference. And surely would have moved on to battle the EC champion Raptors who steamrolled the aged and toothless Brooklyn Nyets who were without their only young star... They didn't? No? Nope: they crapped the bed and were tortured by the ghost of old Joe Johnson, and key big shots and blocks by, well whaddaya know, the Washington Wizards new starting SF Paul Pierce. How 'bout that...

It looks like you conceded every other point since you only responded to 1 little snippet. So, I will take the win on...

1) You not knowing how to read when I said Cavs suck on D,
2) Most of your wins being squeakers against bad teams with injuries and/or new players.
3) Canada rules
4) USA drools

So, that is 4-0. Remember that score, because it is going to be the score of the series in the Raps favor if we meet the Wiz in the playoffs.

As for the rest of this rubbish.

Ranking only 2nd behind MIke Miller among made 3pters among players 20 or younger, ahead of our homey Kevin Durant. Nah, who'd want that?

This is dumb AF. Durant hit 59 threes as a rook. Whoop-dee-doo that Beal hit more. So did Adam Morrison. There's 65 rookies in the last 10 years alone that have hit more than that.

And, it's a completely arbitrary stat. Nobody cares how many total 3's a player hits. He's a .500ts% scorer. Efficiency matters at the end of the day, not how good you are at 1 individual thing.

I would think the mere fact that Mike friggin Miller is the all time leader in this, should be an indicator of it's value.

They'd rather have Demarr Derozan who was already hitting 40% from three when he was um how old? That would be 'never' yrs old, doc. Never did it.

Ummm.... Yes? Of course I would rather have Derozan. You know, there is more to basketball than shooting a 3 right? His overall efficiency is miles better than Beal's, so being a better 3pt shooter doesn't really hold much water. You sure you want to compare Beal to an All star here?

You sure you want to be calling out players for their shooting stroke?

Find me one instance where I called out a players shooting stroke. I said [Beal] is a ".500ts% SG".

As for best back court. The question Beal answered was about best _young_ backcourt in the league

Fair enough. Point taken. It's still incorrect, but not quite as stupid as if he was talking about the whole league.

But you could be right. Our record is probably reflective of our ceiling. No chance this team improves long term. Young players don't do that.

You have a .700% win record, with a 1.8 net rating, and are ranked 23rd in strength of schedule. What in the hell are you talking about with this sarcasm? 2 teams in the entire league posted a win record better than that last year. Of course you guys are playing over your heads to this point, and not playing at a level that is indicative of your record.

Or last year when in his 2nd year in the league he carried our squad to the 2nd round of the playoffs, on 41% shooting from 3 (and 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists) against the toughest 2 defenses in the Eastern conference. How 'bout that...

Well, I guess we can't all be lucky enough to face an injured, and depleted Bulls team in the first round.

Lol at thinking a 37 year old Pierce is much of a factor. He scored a whopping 13ppg against us in that series.

Did we play the Bucks tonight or the Wizards? I can't tell.

Maybe the 76ers?

I don't want to be anywhere near the boards when Toronto plays the Knicks. First of all, there are too damn many Toronto-ites. Secondly, the Knicks board scares me.

The Knicks board is the epitome of entertainment after a loss to the Raptors. They hate us so much and their mods are such dicks, it's a hilarious combination. And it helps that the team is a steaming piece of poo

Hah! Still out there yapping in the street? Understood there's precious little to do in London Ontario. I promise to come around every now and again to pat you on the head. But if you want to chase that car okay, I'll back up over you:

Hendrix wrote:Are you stupid as fawk, or do you jut read, process, and write things down like a stupid person would?

Well sure, when speaking to a Canuck I'll assume the worst and dumb it down, keep it simple. Like, I won't even bother to underscore the irony in the above sentence. If you did understand, it'd clearly make you [sic].

Oh wait, Orlando was trying to fit in Frye, and was missing one of their best players in Oladipo. Knicks were missing their starting PG, and PF. Pacers were missing 4 of their 5 starters from last year and are riddled with injuries. I guess you did squeak out a win

The way Toronto squeaked out a win against that same Orlando squad. Or the no name Celts (scrappy as they are with their baby Coachlet).

Really? Somehow these beady eyed canuckleheads are getting chesty about victories against the Bucks... Sixers... Celts... the no-Durant/no-Westbrook OKC... Then talk about the Wiz' 23rd best strength of schedule and ignore the Rapturds 27th best opponent rating in their own bloated win record?

Yes, in your division you are guaranteed to make the playoffs, seriously every night is another empty tomato can to plink off: the Nix, the 86ers, the Nyets... But don't let that delude you into thinking you are a powerhouse. The Raptors early advantage is threefold: 1) the team is above average twelve deep, no mismatch in their favor at any position, but versatile, and their bench is about as good as their starters, so no let down. 2) They play in a division that would be folded, except for the storied tradition of some debauched embarrassments of once-proud franchises. 3) they kept the same team as last year, with minor tweaks, so come out of the gate with continuity and can pounce on a few early mismatches. But their upside? Maybe Jonas improves a little. That's it. B+ also-rans as your best hope, best case scenario.

Oh and HAH! the fevered dream that you land Durant since he used to have a pair of Raptor footie pajamas back when Vince was underachieving your squad to mediocrity every year-- oh and our local product Greivis is a friend of his.

Hell at least Wiz dreams on this front are based on the reality that KD spends all summer here, reps all local teams, roots for the Wiz openly on twitter, trains in the summer with JWall, hosts all his sneaker premiers in the area, and we hired the developmental coach that shaped his and Greivis' game since high school) But if not, we still have upside mo' bigger, mo' better, mo' higher. Sorry raps fans, your best hope is that Masai can work some magic somehow, since 'pretty good' is the best you're gonna get for a while.

I'm sure you guys will be better when you get your .500ts% SG back though, everyone knows how valuable those are.

60ts% shooter so far since his return....

And again, much younger than the .52ts% shooter you rely on. Which is the point: young players improve (Beal was one of the youngest to enter the league to have that significant an impact on his squad). But I'm serious I don't think you want to go far down that route. You want to tout your cross-eyed SF with his broken jumper based on his .02% advantage in ts% over a player in his 2nd year in the league? No argument in this: despite great shooting stroke Beal took too many long 2's. Easy fix: take a step back to the longer range where he hit an even better %. But what can Demar do to improve? His busted J has backslid to a putrid 16% from long range in his 5th season here. He has peaked, and it ain't enough .

What has the USA done since 1988?

Okay well for one thing Bill Clinton's NAFTA initiative helped elevate tag-along Canada to a decent economy. Them Canucks no longer need to survive on canned moose and beer for the winter. We still protect our allies over here. Yes they may be ready and eager to bend over if China decides to move in and take over, not sure why you're bragging on that item, but no fear, we still have the military industrial complex to prevent that from happening. You're welcome, feel free to say nyahh nyahh from behind your big brother over here. We'll still look after ya. :clown:

Right what LSBF said. Don't derail the insult train with your compliments. Else we'll report you and get you bumped from this board. Trolling by failing to troll in the trolling thread is a bannable offense. :noway:

Last night the Wizards played the Cavs who had a lot of douchey LeBron fans. It was like playing the Toronto Raptors again.
