Well, the NBA has made sure to play the clip of Kobe's oop to Shaq for the lead enough to make at least some forget. And then there's Game 6 of Lakers/Kings where Sacto was up big and every whistle started to go against the Kings. What do people remember? The shot of Staples Center erupting when Horry hit the final three.

For all of the obvious times the officials have decided games, Stern and the league have remained largely untouched. No reason to think he won't do it again, especially since this will be his last Finals. We can only hope Adam Silver will make some changes once he's in charge.

More wishful thinking, I know...

Bosh gets a double double. Lebron gets career high assists and possibly a triple double. Spoelstra sits Wade and Allen and at one point has Chalmers with Cole. I think this game won't be close.

I think Miami will win 97-85 in a horribly officiated game.

Would not shock me to see Voegel ejected. Him, Hibbert, Hansbrough, and especially Stephenson will be targeted. Hibbert will have a terrible game and will be booed. George will go for over 30. He will be the only bright spot for Indy.

CCJ, the wild card tonight is George Hill. If he gets about 15-20 points, Indiana would be able to overcome this likely scenario.

I see it happening in a very similar fashion.

I'm not a betting person but Mayweather put up $6 million and takes the Heat -7.

Most surefire bet this year IMO

If the Pacers win, will the refs have the crap beaten out of them?

Hoping for a playoff classic tonight with The Trio humiliated and disgraced.

Would love to see Paul George posterize the big 3 at one time at the buzzer for the win.

Some really poor rotations by Vogel tonight. You can't sit Hibbert and George for that long together.

Seems like Stern bypassed the refs and made long distance call to Indy...

Nah, Miami is just way more talented, and they're actually fighting this game. Miami can really only beat themselves. I hate it but that's what it is. George and Hibbert played way over their heads but they're not a very talented team overall.

Miami struggles against size which is why an aging Celtics team and a paper thin Indiana team took them to 7 but the talent level wins out in the end.

Frankly, a healthy Wizards team next year has more talent on paper and we're as good defensively, we have MUCH better shooting, and much more depth.

Wall >>>>>>>>>>>> Hill
Beal >> Stephenson
Ariza << George but the difference isn't huge
Nene > West
Okafor < Hibbert but not by much

Wittman < Vogel but Vogel is somewhat overrated.

Wall is better than Paul George, and Beal has a chance to be better. Hibbert is a stud though, we won't have an analogue but Okafor is a great defensive C in his own right. Nene is better than West.

Webster and our draft pick would be the first guy off the Indiana bench, hell, Singleton and Ves would get a good deal of burn on that crappy bench.

I agree the Wizards healthy would be able to make some noise.

Now if they made a few upgrades like some length at back up center and a better back up SG/PG option, then we would be talking.

Key would be a healthy Nene. If he was only what he was to end last year, then forget about it. They would be a first round exit.

Yep. Miami is outhustling them and George failed to show up. Oh well, I'd like to see the Spurs take the Heat down. Spurs have just as much size as Indiana plus more talent.

Welcome to Game 7 on the road Mr George.

Young pup taking his lumps.

This is why the Wizards have to get Wall and Beal into the playoffs. Gotta get this experience in early in their careers.

Spurs have bigs that can cause problems for MIA and Parker is masterful at playing through screens and off the ball. Plus he is so quick with the ball I think he will get by anyone the Heat put on him.

I just don't know how Pop will try to defend Miami.

Leonard isn't a slouch defensively...I thought George did an OK job for the most part but he doesn't have the lowpost strength Leonard has. I'd say George has better defensive instincts but Indy have Miami fits for most of the series because they could basically stay at home on the shooters. If Leonard can emulate some of what Indy did against LBJ it really should favor SAS.

IMO Danny green is a better defender then Lance and is quite deadly from 3 pt land, the amount they were slouching off Lance this series they cannot do against Green or Manu. Defending Wade is still relatively easy..just give him space and don't bite on pumpfakes.

Duncan is still a damn good defender and IMO has better positioning instincts then Hibbert. Also i think he is still a stronger player, Hibbert is great, no doubt...But Duncan doesn't get knocked to the floor quite as easily as hibbert does...same for Splitter (when he isn't flopping). Duncan is also a superior passer, something I thought Hibbert could have used when confronted with double teams. SAS offense will suffice somewhat as a defense as well, they will make Miami work.

I think it goes to 6...And I want to say Timmy gets his 5th and retires. Everybody wins. Except Wade. That roid sucking douche.

I know it was to be expected, but I'm pretty deflated that Indy didn't knock out Miami. I'm actually wondering if I'll be watching any Finals games at all.
