Nick only has 13 4+ assist games in 4 and a half seasons with the zards and already has 2 such games thus far in 11 games as a sixer.

It is very interesting to see other teams using our flawed players as what they truly are... role players. The problem is that in DC, our management wanted them to be core starters. >.<
I do think that Denver will regret giving McGee so much money if they can only effectively use him off the bench for 20 mins a night, though.

Agree with your first paragraph. Denver is happy to be free of Nene's contract, they didn't have extend McGee.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread
No argument there, Closg. Denver wanted someone that could play every night. Nene is a very good player, but his health seems to be a roll of the dice. I do think he can still be an asset - we played really well when he was on the court last year - and I hope that he strings together a season or two of consistently strong play. If nothing else, that will make him an attractive item in a trade.
As a separate point, I think Denver will end up wishing they had done something else with their money than extend McGee for so much. I don't think they'll ever regret trading Nene, just the specifics of how they did it.

Definitely playing a much more economical game. I liked 2010 Blatche better though. That dude could just take over a game whenever he wanted too. I don't think he'll reach that level again.

2011 Blatche could take over a strip club on any Tuesday he wanted.

LOL. It always seems like plays purposely stink it up with the Wiz so they can get out ASAP, and then they star playing out of there minds when after they get on another team.

Kudos again to CCJ, he alone stuck his neck out on Charlotte who are now the 5th seed in the East.

Chandler Parsons with career high 31 pts for HOU last night. Wasn't he a 2nd round pick last year?!?! He seems to have solidified his spot as the SF starter down there. Sad that both are 1st round picks from last year cant even find regular rotation minutes on a 0-10 team...

Don't forget that Chandler was chosen with the 8th pick in the 2nd round and was thus, theoretically, passed over by every team nearly 1.25 times, though EG maximized his opportunities by more than doubling that number to a full 3 passes, therefore EG, unlike the others that passed on Parsons, is a genius at recognizing opportunities, and all is well in year zero of the rebuild, see I have a boss, he has a plan, blah blah blah...

Just last night I was fishing around for the draft thread where several posters had Parson's on their board on draft night for that pick.
