Wizards release Shaun Livingston/Earl Barron

Post#1 » by pineappleheadindc » Sun Dec 23, 2012 6:00 am

.
@Michael Lee says it's to allow the Wizards to seek backcourt help. Which indicates two things to me.

1. Wall's return isn't just around the corner now, is it? But then, you'all know that.
2. Knowing Ernie's skills, this is just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

I'm scared.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Barron is going to a sure bet to get a deal from a contender, he played well. I don't get the move from the Wizards perspective, unless a trade is upcoming.

Seriously, the timing is suspect. Boogie gets suspended indefinitely and the Wizards free up space 24 hours later. I can only hope.

Yep, when the news came up on my feed, Cousins being suspended indefinitely was the first thing that came to mind. Theres also rumours surrounding Tyreke. I doubt they would send both out to us, maybe for our unprotected first? Its juicy, real juicy, but i dont know if id do it. We could either look really smart or really stupid in a year or two.

Given Ernie's history, my money is on really stupid
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Hmm, this would seem to signal a trade... Wouldn't be to surprised to see the Wizards telegraphing another move ahead of time.

Lot of speculation but Fegan currently represents John Wall, Nene and former Wizard Gilbert Arenas.

I really hope, and pray that we dont trade away our first. this seems like 2009 when we traded our first away, worst mistake ever made! if we can get D.C. and pair him with noel or len then yes i say do it. give them what ever they want but our first needs to be off limits!.
