The Raptors game represents a statement game. The Wizards have a chance to be two over .500. They also need to find a way to beat Toronto.

True... this is a big game IMO, Toronto has had our number lately. A win would be good for team's mindset if they are playoff matchup. An issue IMO has been Beal does not match up well vs Derozan. Would love to see him have a big game.

Yes, the Zards need to beat Toronto, if only to get that "we can't beat the Raptors" monkey off their back. But there's a risk in putting too much emphasis on this game, including getting down on yourself if you lose or too high on yourself if you win. At the end of the day, it's just one game.

This has been a breakout year for Derozan. He's outplayed a lot of other SGs this season...not just Beal, and made the all-star team. But it's also his 4th year in the league...compared to Beal who is in his second year.

I think it's Derozan's fifth year. I think he was in the 2009 class. He's got a good head start on Beal.
