As a passionate Raptors fan I would normally be really pissed and cussing out your team after such a close loss, but it was a competitive, entertaining game and I'm glad to see your fanbase excited about the win after 3 frustrating losses to us this season. A lot of 50/50 calls (for example the block was clean, but Patterson got shoved on the rebound, so difficult call all around), but thats to be expected in a close game, I really wish JV couldve stepped it up tonight to show you guys what he can do, but its still a big learning process for him. We didn't play our best tonight (a lot of guys were cold) and Ross - whos been really valauble lately - was injured, but theres no doubt you guys are a solid young team. Its always frustrating when you kill us on the boards, since usually were a pretty good rebounding team =(

Either way good luck in the playoffs(as long as its not against us), and cheers Wizards fans. I liike your fanbase (for the most part)!

This is a rare Wizards win where we don't shoot good from 3 point range. I think we could have played a lot better (bad outside shooting, turnovers, poor defense) but it was an amazing win. Let's hope Gortat can keep his double double streak going.

Best thing about this game was TNT cut to the ending because the Knicks were getting blown out. We got national coverage!

For a lot of people that's their first look at John Wall and the Wiz this season (other than All-Star weekend), and he definitely put on a show. Those last few minutes exemplified what is so special about him.. not just scoring, but also making plays for others and being all over the place on defense.

Yesterday i set the DVR to record the game on channel 575, Today channel 575 doesnt exist.

The guide was showing the game on 578 but when i tried to switch to that channel it didn't work.

They play at the friggin Verizon Center and Verizon doesn't have the game? :banghead:

I'm on FIOS too.

I had it on my DVR, but like you there was no 575 on the guide and 578 wouldn't let you in.

I *did* get to watch the game, though. I tuned my receiver to 576 (the hockey game), then I hit the channel down button on the remote and it took me to 575 (for real) and I watched the game. Just couldn't record it.

Good win against a team we have trouble against!

However, we need to hope to make the 3rd seed and the Cats make the 6th otherwise we are in a hard fought series in the first round. The Bulls, Nets, and Raptors will give us trouble. Unless the Wizards conjure up some potions by Snapeman, cast some spells since they are Wizards, and then plain have faith and BEALieve! Lets go!

GREAT WIN! Signature win for the season IMO. Couple of things that stood out.
1. It's amazing how much easier it is to drive without two bigs clogging. Spacing!....what a novel concept.
2. Love the pick & roll. Run it til they stop it!
3. Beal....ehhhh. He hit a big shot in one of the OTs but his legs were done, his D was poor, and he really struggles versus Toronto's length. 51 minutes? Wow Wittman.
4. On a related note can we please see some two pg play?
5. Does anyone really have confidence in Martell starting next year? We have to aggressively try to re-sign Ariza and then shop Martell.

It was on 575 the entire time...

EDIT: 575 was apparently invisible on the guide. I had to channel down to see it.
