Another loss tonight. Wiz won't close. Matthews or Batum probably will go off.

we'll probably win this one if they are without LMA. This team usually plays better after a loss.

The Wizards invent new ways to lose all the time, losing to a Blazers team missing their best player would be yet another.

Wait they re-released Kobe's shoes? The red is ok but that grey and pink is horrible.

You say this like they are a 20 win team this year. I think they will come out focused for this one.

Batum has averaged 13 rebounds per game over the past 10 games. The man is getting it done on the glass. But if Portland is going to start him at PF, the Wizards need to take advantage by pounding it down low. Batum has the length, but he isn't the strongest guy in the world. Time for Booker to channel his inner Charles Barkley and just take it right at him with the power game.

see, Im not with pounding it downlow, especially with Booker starting. I rather penetrate. Throwing it into the post just takes the ball out of Wall's hands and makes him a spot up shooter. Id rather have him in control of the game. He played great against the Blazers last time and I expect him to play great again after the way the last game ended.

I honeslty hate Booker starting. Im just turning into a non fan. I dont hate Booker. I like him but I think he's the worst of our bigs. I would rather play Gortat, Nene, KS, Gooden, and Al over him. He would be the last guy for me out of that group. I would honestly right now start Gooden or Al. I think Gooden is the perfect guy to start because he's everything weve been looking for. The best of both worlds. He's a big tall strong PF that can rebound and play inside but he has also showed the abilitly to be the stretch 4 we all want playing with Wall. I just think our O would be unstoppable with him. Im not sold on his J so I wouldnt mind Al starting but either of them over Book does it for me.

The one downside to it is that Book is a last option so the other 4 guys get most of the shots. With Gooden or Al, it would be 5 guys who want to score but maybe thats not a bad thing. Anything would be great ot have someone take shots away from Beal right now......lol I just dont get why Book starts when we all want a stretch 4, he's not great at anything, and our best lineup every game is eitehr with Gooden or Al in or even moreso, when we go small with Ariza & Web at the 4. I just dont get it

Guess Beal's line today.. I'm thinking 6-15 overall, 2-5 from 3pt, 2-3 from the FT line.. that's a good day for him

You're wrong again. Easy win for us tonight. Our boys should be very motivated for the playoffs seed fight in the EC.

oh geez, this is going to be really interesting to see how the Wizards play without Marc. Also, it will be interesting to see how KS does in this situation. I still think he can be a good offensive player. His defense is still suspect though.

I actually think it's the other way around. Seraphin's defense is fine. It's his offense that's a problem. He has good offensive skills, but he's a terrible decision-maker.

Not sure what you've been watching but whenever Kevin has played, he's showed a great touch from 15 feet and in. His jump hook has been deadly as well. He's a better pure shooter than Gortat.

The decision-making part comes with age and experience (he tends to move on screens) and yes, he's a poor passer. He can hold his spot on defense down low because of his strength but he loses guys sometimes. THere's no reason why the guy can't be a 10-15mpg player at the 5 and 4 (when they aren't going against a stretch 4).

This team continues to impress. These are not the Wizards of old. The old Wizards would have been down 20 by now. This team has fight, dedication and perseverance.

Oh mylanta this has been entertaining so far. Hoping Seraphin manages to stay out of foul trouble, this looks like the start of one of his better games.
