And if Gortat keeps playing like this, gotta try Gooden. At least he'll rebound.

Were we watching the same game? I thought we settled too much for long 2s and
didn't attack Noah when he had 2 fouls in the 1st half.

that pretty much sums it up.

if not for Nene being suspended, I might feel pretty good about gm 4.
It doesn't seem likely that Dunleavy is going to do that again. Then again,
there's always DJ to worry about. Or god help me, Hinrich could even
drop a couple 3s on us.

Our crowd was NOT a problem in this game! Were you there? It didn't sound loud on TV
when I watched the replay (dvr) but trust me, the crowd was freakin awesome.

He didn't have his hands on Nene's neck. Nene deserved to get thrown out.

Butler started the whole thing. The NBA has chosen to ignore that fact.

There I have to disagree. I've watched a lot of tape on it, and unless someone has some new tape, showing a prior act I didn't notice, the first thing I see is Nene pushing Butler out of the way when he's turning to go back down court. (And the only foot I see stepped on is Booker's foot.) It wasn't a particularly bad push, but I could still see a ref calling it.

Butler surely pushed harder in response, then came at him, but it didn't look to me like a "defend yourself, cause I'm coming at you" type stance, more like a "let's posture for a while" type stance. I think Nene was just posturing too, but they both were headed toward dangerous territory, tech and suspension-wise, and Nene was just ahead of Butler. Maybe Butler was consciously playing toward that outcome, Rodman-style. Too bad for the Wizards.
