If you want to shake things up, think outside of the box.
"When lineups stagnate that's the time impregnate."
Don't go get a baby momma! Do spawn ideas....
Paradigm
Homeostasis
Entropy
Flow
Symbiotic movement
Those words above, if you don't know what each means go ask somebody. Who? Search engine is your friend.
Coaches get fired because they fail to successfully adjust and navigate once the ship be sinking.
--Change your paradigm on who plays
--Homeostasis in player minutes and offense by Wall is not working.
--Entropy can be introduced by seldom used players being used more prominently.
I could suggest seven changes, but I won't....

Replying since no one else has.
If your intent is for wittman to read this and understand it, I hope you airmailed him a dictionary.
His initial reaction probably would be "I'm no homeostasis, I love my wife dearly"

Word.
Just felt like indulging myself, AFM.
I'm not QUITE delusional enough to think anyone reads scours posts on this site.
I am delusional enough to think I could help him or another coach when their ship starts to sink.
Seven suggestions for Wittman
1. Apologize
Whomever he has offended.
2. Start Seraphin at PF with Gortat at C.
3. Bring in Nene and Blair together at about the 8 minutes mark (4 left)
4. Start Webster at SG and Porter at SF if Beal and Pierce are still out.
5. Give Wall a quick hook after his second careless turnover. Ignore legit effort but stop pampering John.
6. Play Wall with Sessions at least 4 minutes
7. Create a rewards system for each player. For example, pay a bounty for made threes. Another example, use a game plus minus incentive. Get guys thinking about their individual strengths that lead to wins. When Wall gets 3 steals or more Washington wins. (Almost always). There are a lot of weird stats but some do point out useful trends or keys to victory.
Find ways to give players hope.

Re: Counterintuitive Advice for Randy Wittman
Nice post. I understand what those words mean, that makes me a lot better than everyone else. Deal with it.
I like your ideas but I don't really understand how it's a real topic of discussion. I can't comment on the rewards system, but I like that idea. I have always felt, especially recently, that Randy Wittman doesn't have a good relationship with the guys. Not sure if I'm with you on Martell Webster though. We need a coach who's fair but doesn't tolerate big egos or the superstar John Wall calling the shots. I think Wall needs a guy like that, he would respect him more. Wittman is a doormat.
