Next year is a contract year for Blair. There's also a better opportunity for minutes if Seraphin isn't retained. I wonder if he'll be motivated to get back into NBA shape. If he doesn't, his career could be over.

Nice pass from Sessions to Gortat. Sessions has been non-horrible tonight.

So much for Otto playing well in first half. Dude can't buy a jumper to save his life.

Apologies to CCJ, but Blair is just horrible. It's hard to watch him out there. He's immobile on help defense, too short on post defense, he can't shoot, and he's slow. The ONLY thing he's got going for him is a great set of hands. Dude can can grab a rebound in traffic.

And long arms and wide body.

Rebounding he can do.

And foul hard.

Thats a skill set if used wisely in very limited mins.

Please. Anybody can foul hard. That's not a skill. And his long arms and wide body aren't enough for him to be a useful post defender or help defender.

Besides: the thicker his body gets, the less relative reach he has (since his gut pushes the offensive player further away).

That's science.

All things considered, this was a nice win. Yeah, Memphis was ridiculously short handed, but that's what you're supposed to do when you face a short handed team. Blow them out.

Webster's so diminished, he looks like he's 2" shorter. I can't conceive of him playing the 3 now -- let alone starting there.

Turrie Murrie (the man who ain't Curry) just scored!

He also just threw a terrible cross-court pass, so there's that.

I see you Toure, getting that headband. Might as well get as much free gear as you can during your 10-day.

I like Murries' quickness. His handle is another story.

Good win.

Interesting move by MEM to sit so many starters.

Thank you MEM.

Two wins counts as a win streak.

Frustrating to think what other games we might have won if we'd played small and fast.
