Oh, duh. The lazy EG move. And Josh being a UK teammate of Wall. :)

Atleast Josh is over 6 ft 8 in and a good few years below 30.

I wouldn't be surprised if Danny Granger ends up on the Wiz at some point this season - he was cut by the Pistons. I wouldn't pick him up, but EG likes em old.

Ruz,

Honestly, if we have some cold shooting from the perimeter from our forwards over the next couple weeks then I would not mind bringing in a 10 year vet stretch 4 who is a career 38% from 3 point range. He would also be another great mentor to Porter and Oubre.

People shouldnt forget that for a 5 year stretch from 07-12 Granger averaged 22/5.5/2.5 per 36 while shooting 39% from 3pt range and 86% from the line.

Porter's game very much resembles Grangers coming up and could really provide a Pierce role for him...

True - and I was a big fan of Granger - but that was when he had 2 working knees.

Granger used to be a very good player. Emphasis on "used to be." His last good season was 2011-12 (PPA: 136). In the three seasons since then, he's appeared in 76 games, totaled 1534 minutes, and rated below replacement level (PPA: 41). He's 32 years old and hasn't played well in three years. There has to be someone available who's more likely to help.

This was burned into my memory at the time, but hostages always maintain hope that they wIll be freed by their captors. I don't think I'll be abLe to watch another re-build.

They have MANY interesting young bigs IMO. Leonard, Vonleh, Ed Davis, Plumlee... They are essentially stocked for the future IMO. I'm very jelly that they got Vonleh... I think he'll become a great 2 way big in a couple seasons. So long as Lillard passes the rock.

Yup - and they added Aminu/Harkless at the 3. Neither scores much, but they're shutdown wing defenders.

And McCollum... averaged less than 7 points a game but... in the last month 15.8 PPG on 53% shooting and over 40% from 3. He and Lillard combined could get 50 points a game. If you play fantasy basketball, make sure you steal McCollum.

McCollum goes for 35 points, 11 boards, 9 assists, 4 steals and a block last night. Every once in a while, I get one right.

Of course, Vonleh's been terrible. Maybe I can edit that part out... oops.

Now's a good time to buy low on Vonleh.

I'm not sure where this goes (trade? free agency? KD2DC?), but I keep seeing rumors that Detroit is interested in reunitng Ryan Anderson and SVG, though they supposedly don't want to give up assets for him this season. My question is, where does that leave Ilyasova? It seems unlikely Detroit would fully guarantee the poor man's Anderson's 2016-17 contract (it seems to be guaranteed for only $400,000, with a full value of $8.4 million) if they think they will be signing the real thing, but they might have the cap room to do it. If they don't, I still think he would be a decent fit with the Wizards. Yes, I fear re-igniting the Ilyasova debate from years past, but he has had two good years statistically. This year, his ORTG is 111 and his DTRG is 103. Pretty efficient. Decent rebounder, good 3 point shooter, taller than Dudley, less head case than Morris.

Even if he is comes on the market, I wonder what his value would be. Maybe Detroit guarantees that last year then trades him something?
