Reputation was definitely a factor, but his strong December can't be overlooked.

Rings a bit hollow given the state of the team, but for a guy that seems to get Dangerfielded a lot it's nice to see .

A bright spot for what has been a frustration season.

Lone bright spot for us. I hope he is surrounded by good players soon, so we can realize something great.
Congrats John!!! It is well deserved.

In my analysis, he deserved the 5th guard spot. Wade getting voted a starter would have pushed Wall to sixth in my stuff. I'm glad the coaches pay so little attention to my analysis. :)

I'm glad Kyrie didn't make it.

If he had got voted in by the fans, thank goodness he didnt, I don't think John would have made it.

Given John's lackadaisical defense, I'd rather he was left off the roster. Something is wrong with the man. The effort level is notably lower this year than what we saw in the 2014-15 campaign.

He deserves it, even if he's basically mailing it in the last few games.

That's how I feel. Aside from the last few games, I think he has played hard all season - even when he started out slowly - he's mentioned that he was playing through an injury at the beginning of the season. I would like to know if something happened recently that's been the cause of his recent apparent lack of interest.
