It’s not really a knock on Kispert. His opportunities to shine have mostly come late in the season when the Zards have had nothing to play for and guys like Beal, KP and Kuz are taking games off. I give Kispert props for stepping up when given the opportunity.

I would probably do something like 3/$36 million. Shooters get paid, he'd easily get the MLE from a team like Orlando.

I'd go 4/$50M with descending annual salaries.

Over the 4 seasons, that would be:
2025-26 $14.2M
2026-27 $13.1M
2027-28 $11.9M
2028-29 $10.8M

Four years from now when we are hopefully good, it'll be nice to have a guy like Kispert coming off the bench making just $11.9M at a time when the MLE is $16.9M.

You’re right. Shooters get paid and if you have a good one like Kispert you don’t look to trade them. Unless, of course, you get an offer you can’t refuse.

Interesting to hear Kispert talk about his consistency. I just looked up the numbers and was blown away.

Over the course of the entire season, he didn't have a single 3-game stretch with a TS% below .500! He only had three 2-game stretches with a TS% below .500. That's really incredible for a guy who scores his buckets from the perimeter.

There's a 100% chance that Kispert goes into either coaching or basketball media after his career is over.

My favorite answer was regarding the potential coaching search. Kispert knows EXACTLY what the team needs.
