Statistically, Wright has been off-the-charts good, particularly for a team that doesn't demand high usage out of their PG. Wes really needs to find him more minutes.

The Wizards are 13-6 when Wright plays. 9-20 when he doesn't.

I think Delon would make an excellent 3&d sf. I would love to see the following starting lineup Morris, Beal, Wright, kp and Gafford.

Cool seeing Jordan Goodwin on this list, though it mostly reflects that everybody else on the team was not all that good at forcing turnovers.

Wright leads the league in steals per minute, but he hasn't played enough minutes to qualify for league leaders.

Wright has picked up where he left off last season. He doesn't score much, so at first glance, it doesn't look like he is contributing much; but as usual, he makes up for it in other stat columns. This year, he averaging 10.9 assists per 36 minutes with just 0.5 turnovers. And he is averaging 3.2 steals per 36. Only GPII and Marcus Smart are averaging more steals per minute while playing more minutes than Delon.

And so ends the Delon Wright era:

He was a good player for us, but unfortunately, he was hurt far too often. It's a shame his injury this year prevented us from trading him for value.

Best of luck to Delon!

Is he the worst Wizard ever? His presence last year won us a handful of games that could have been the difference in the Wemby sweepstakes. And then his injury this year cost us the opportunity to trade him.

(I kid. I like Delon and wish him well.)

Good. Was hoping for and expecting this. Let Delon go play for a playoff team and let the Zards see what we have in Butler.

To Delon, good luck and good health.
