This one was pretty tough.

Poole's 12 assists are eye-opening, but watching the game, I didn't really see him making passes that gave his teammates a big advantage. It was just him making the logical next pass. But still, 12 assists shouldn't be dismissed.

Avdija had a typical Avdija game, which, these days, is a really good game. 22, 13 and 5 with his customary good D. He also had 7 rebounds in the 4th quarter alone. But he went 0-5 in the 4th quarter and missed the last 2 free throws to ice the game, which taints what would otherwise be an absolutely fantastic outing.

I think Holmes' work on the offensive glass is what saved the game for us. Olynyk is the key to Toronto's success on offense with his ability to operate at the top of the key and provide spacing. The best counter is to make Toronto pay for relying on Olynyk for rebounding and defense, and Holmes exploited that. He outworked Olynyk, dominating the boards.

I went with Holmes. But Avdija is also a very good choice.

Holmes is showing he has value. Next year if we have Vukcevic/Holmes/Bagley at C. Then Holmes and Bagley expire or we use one or both in a trade.

I didn't vote for Poole but it's nice seeing him getting double figure assists instead of just looking for his own shot.
