GT77: Wiz vs. Hollywood

Post#1 » by dorianwrite » Wed Apr 3, 2024 3:09 pm

Future 1st-ballot basketball HOFer Tristan "Splash" Vukcevic leads the Wiz into battle against a bunch of no-names whose team moniker indicates its arena should be in Duluth.

I don't see how it's possible for the Lakers to win this one.

Are James and Davis out?

Playing without Bagley/Holmes is going to be rough against the Lakers size.

Apparently Bagley's knee was just a mild sprain.

Still think we won't see him again this season though...

No biggie. I just didn't want him to spend a summer rehabbing a serious injury.

The mere threat that he might launch a 3 so freaks out the Lakers they don't realize that "Splash" Vukcevic is playing 3-dimensional chess with their psyches. Beautiful line-drive alley-oop to Kuzma for the bucket!

This first quarter is an excellent exhibition of Deni getting frozen out. He never gets to handle the ball, or get us into our sets. Just Poole and Kuzma. Lame ****.

PBJ is not an NBA player, waste of minutes.

Ah didn't see the other one was stickied. My lack of attention to detail is like Kuzma on defense. :)

The continued playing time provided to Patrick Baldwin, Jr., makes me question my status as a near lifelong Bullets/Wizards fan. You'd think it would be some other player at some other point over the last 35+ years, but nope. It's Patrick Baldwin, Jr.

There's no way they upgrade this to a flagrant foul. It's LeBron. But he was obviously trying to take Avdija's head off.

Hard to watch the team when Kuz is on.. it's just not the same. Deni barely touch the ball and it feels like that few players just ignore him
