I know…and even then he had some head scratching plays down the stretch plus his D on Edwards was very bad….

It's crazy that Deni going 15, 6 and 5 is low-key kind of a bad game for him. I'm pretty much expecting 18, 9 and 5 every night.

Actually had a pretty good game.

In his last 10 games, Davis has a 64.6% TS.

Definitely a bad game for him. He got really frustrated early in this game and couldn't really get his head back in the game. You could tell he was additionally frustrated with some 50-50 calls not going his way.

It started when Omoruyi looked him off on an easy inbounds to pass to Butler. Then Butler was dribbling the ball not really doing anything, you could see and hear Deni demonstratively scream "pass the ball." Obviously not the best way to handle that, but I get with his style of team play that he'd be frustrated with guys playing for contracts and angling for next season. Hopefully he's develops the ability to hash this stuff on the sidelines with a bit more poise.

He had a really bad missed bunny that he oddly tried to finesse like a tear drop. Other than that, it was a largely positive night for him from what I remember. I didn't watch the fourth though.

Yes…I thought Johnny D. looked decent on offense. Made a nice move off the dribble (albeit on the smaller Conley) that led to an easy layup. That’s the kind of aggressive, confident play I’ve been looking to see from him.

Again, Johnny had a decent offensive performance but also had some head scratching plays down the stretch and, more importantly, his D on Edwards was pretty bad…

In contrast, I’d say Patrick Baldwin is showing signs of life. Decent performance last night.

Anyone the Zards put on Edwards last night would have looked pretty bad. Antman is one of the best offensive guards in the NBA.

We might be the last two on Davis island.

At the very least, in the last 20 games, he’s played 300 minutes and shot the 3 at 35% (8-23), and 70% from the free throw line, also 19 assists to 3 turnovers.

All he needs to do is develop a passable 3 pt shot and he’s a useful rotation player with his defense and effort. It’s a low bar for a 10th overall pick, but there’s still some hope.
