Only 2 teams were able to ignore OJ Mayo.
Hard to get from ignore to snore.

Btw, I'm in Chicago right now, where it's 4:49 pm. Ignore that observation.
Edit -- Wait... make that 4:50

A minute passed.

And then another minute passed.

Then a minute, which seemed to be an hour, but in fact was only a minute...........passed.

I was off by an hour, meaning my set up is slightly off.

Wondering about all those HS/College phenoms that didn't have enough to play professionally. Who is the first of them to state that they are changing their gender pronouns and attempt to apply to the WNBA for the money? (I keep waiting for Rodman to do it)

I'm curious whether they pay more in the Egyptian pro league or the WNBA. Average salary in the WNBA was $113,295 at the start of 2023. That's peanuts compared to the NBA but it's pretty good money for a guy without much skill other than basketball, especially if he didn't get a college degree. G league average is $40,000.

Egypt specifically doesn't look like they pay a lot (https://www.kingfut.com/2019/08/20/al-ahly-record-ehab-amin/) looks like this guy got 165k from them. I wonder why he signed there. Kemba Walker signed that 1yr/2M deal in Monaco

Rodman is 62 so he wouldn't make the cut

Dawn Staley was asked if trans women should be able to play and she said yes. Knowing that it has literally never happened. Not one male bball player has said "you know what I now consider myself a female and I want to play women's bball." Dave Chappelle jokes notwithstanding, this is a made up problem that doesn't actually exist. Less than 1% of people overall are trans so the likelihood of this happening and the athlete in question actually being talented enough for it to be an issue is very low.

https://nebraskaexaminer.com/2023/03/09/national-ban-on-transgender-athletes-in-girls-sports-passed-by-u-s-house-panel/

"more than 480,000 students compete as National Collegiate Athletic Association athletes, according to the NCAA.

Currently, 32 transgender athletes openly compete in college sports"

for the math challenged among us, that is 0.007%
