I concur. Celts should just forfeit.

more seriously

C's are definitely going to be pumped and looking for payback.
'Zards know this.

Just hoping for a close game. A second win would be a real stunner.

BTW- the W SAT put me back on track with my incredibly optimistic
Jan prediction of 11 Ws. I had HOU wrong but got BOS wrong in the
opp direction.

BTW- I hope they're already up there. The weather up that way
is heavy duty.

If you sorcerers somehow found a way to conjure up a win again, you would probably beat us if we met in the Playoffs. Rondo is probably out again, but I don't think you can get back-to-back vitories against us. We just had a nightmare performance on Saturday, our stinking offense totally killed us. There is just no way we repeat such a performance, and especially against the exact same team. Good luck!

Have we stopped doing game threads with detailed info? Not that I don't know who's playing, but I always like seeing the set up, someone else's idea of key factors, who will be the X man for the game, etc.

Bill Simmons predicted a 29 win season for the Wizards, who now have 19 wins.

The Wizards only play the Celtics one more time after tonight. I don't know where the additional 8 wins are going to come from.

daSwami is taking the Zenmaster approach, see:

Ryoanji

After the next loss someone else can come in and roll with the lineups and x factors.

Pishtosh.

Obviously, Jamison and Butler will shoot much better. Wiz 98, Celts 82.

Obviously, Ray and Pierce will shoot much better, and our offense won't stink again (1st time we scored less than 80).

Thanks biga for splaining (and understanding) the method to my madness. before the hawks game nobody stepped up and made a game thread, so i did one last-minute, and opted to take a zen approach because i'm too lazy to do a detailed thread. the zen approach has worked now 2 games running, so i'm trying it again in hopes that it pleases the basketball gods enough to keep our win streak alive.

Well ya, that's why I gave the C's 82 this time.

If you consider all factors, it should be 83.

Is Rondo the glue for the Celts breaking out this season? If-so, then perhaps they might continue their slump until they find their way like we did w/o Gilbert. Still, how can you not predict that they will do anything other than rebound with a vengeance.......at least against us tonight.

If you're going to use the fact that the Celtics shot bad on Saturday then you have to acknowledge how awful the Wizards shot. We were 36% from the field. Odds are the Celts will shoot better tonight, odds are the Wizards will too
