FWIW, same guy (mostly) I was before.

married, kids (2), NIH, former runner hoping to return to running later this year,
dobroist, guitarist, occasional singer with 2 bands. Definitely not quitting my day job.
I'd be homeless.

Bullets fan since Earl Monroe's rookie year.
LOL - a guy sitting in front of me at the last game tried to claim that
Unseld led the league in scoring as a rookie. While he did have a great
rookie year winning RoY and MVP, he never ever ever led the league in scoring.
Why would anyone think that?

I don't think Unseld ever even led the Bullets in scoring, much less the league.

Name: Higga. Big Jay-Z fan growing up(still am), Jigga + Hindu = Higga.

Age: 26

Marital Status: Not married, dating a girl after years of on again off again. We live together.

Job: Senior Recruiting Coordinator

Hometown: Reston, VA

Current Locale: McLean, VA

Wizfan History: Always been a fan of D.C. sports. Earliest memory is of the Bullets, when we played the Bulls in the '97 playoffs and got swept in three tough games and Jordan called us the team of the future. Too bad it didn't work out....

RealGM History: Friend from a different message board showed it to me.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

I doubt he ever cracked 20 ppg.
I told the guy Hayes probably led the league but that was the year before.
Dave Bing led the league in Unseld's rookie year.
Unseld did lead the league in rebounding once. And avgd 14 for his career.
Different era though.

His highest ppg was his second year at 16.2(only 5th on a team scoring 120 pts/game).

His highest rank on the Bullets was 4th:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/tea ... game::none

He scored 13 ppg in 41 minutes.

Unseld is also part of the answer to what can still be a great barroom trivia question (if you're with casual fans):

Name the only two players in NBA history to win league MVP and Rookie of the Year in the same season.

The answer:

Spoiler:
Wes Unseld and Wilt Chamberlain

I think he was also youngest MVP until Rosé won it.

Nate's in Columbus (Dublin?)

My wife's family is in Cleveland; we;re there at least once a year.

We should actually do a meet-up at a Wiz-Cavs game next season. That would be fun as hell.

No longer in Cleveland area. Like LeBron, I took my talents to out of NE Ohio...now live in Pacific NW (Seattle area).
