I repeat we're another first round exit. Don't even give me that Jamison is out bull. We need more depth, foye and miller does not cut it.

Depends on who we play. Blatche is capable off the bench as is Oberto when Jamison returns.

The fact is, the referees got in their heads, the calls were bogus throughout the game, and the Wizards were unable to mentally overcome this. Lots of teams can't overcome bad officiating, because it destroys their rhythm, destroys their confidence, alters their gameplan, shortens their depth - when a team is forced to play 5 on 8, it is nearly impossible to win.

The better team did not win this game. The team that was better at currying favor with a corrupt officiating cartel won this game.

This is the style of ball that you can expect to see the Cavs playing (dumping it in to Shaq) If the Cavs are cold-shooting or an opponent has a big lead, they slow the game down using Shaq.

DeShawn: 0-4 from the field, all from 3. :nonono:

I wouldn't mind another physical low post player before the trade deadline. Not sure how we get one, but I think Javale is not the answer yet. If we make the playoffs, you need another big body who can bang and board.

Why are we playing a zone trap with Shaq out. Are you kidding me Flip? Leave their shooters open? You have got to be kidding me with that crap.

I don't get the fascination with D-Brick in a game like this. He can defend, but at some point, you need offense and he provides nothing. With Jamison out, he's useless and I hate to say it, but Miller doesn't give you much offense either unless he's wide open.

I'd give me left-one for legit back-up PG option. When Gilbert's shot isn't falling he is pretty-much worthless as a PG. And we will never get past this Cavs team in a series w/o a physical post player.

steveson should not be allowed to play against teh cavs. wtf is he doing taking contested 3's and driving to the hoop or even with the ball in his hands longer then the time it takes to pass to any other player.

That charging on AB was not even close. And this game made me sad cause we blew that lead.

I disagree. Jamison isn't the low post bruiser the Wizards need, but he does slide Oberto to the bench, which gives the Wizards 18 big man fouls behind Haywood to use to protect the rim and slow down opposing post scorers.

Agreed, D-Brick has been in waaay too-long a spark was needed by someone, Nick coming in now is too-late.

99 percent of you washington fans are a joke, every game you bitc h about the refs, you were up by 20 points and at the end of the half had plus 11 free throws. stop blaming the refs and blame your owner. 120 million to a guy with no knee, or how bout the fact that you lost to us in 2006 and instead of picking up some players and getting better your owner keeps the same team around year after year
individually some of your players are all stars but as a team it dont work and needs to be blown up

Its amazing how well Nick can play when there's nothing to play for and the game is already over. He needs to replace DeShawn in the rotation.

Despite all of our complaining about the officiating, the Cavs attempted 27 FTs; the Wizards attempted 41. Granted, timing is everything, but this game ain't exactly Game 6 SAC/LAL.

On the other hand, the Cavs had 86 FGA; the Wizards had 69. It's tough competing with that kind of discrepancy.

Is it me or am I the only one who saw the old Gil during the game? Making horrible decisions and shooting fade away shots when 2 people are double teaming you, when you have Foye wide open at top of the arc. Or when he tries to drive it inside, doesn't get the call, yet he keeps trying to get the foul each time, which then lead to offensive fouls or turnovers. COME ON GIL WTF are you doing!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if I want to go to the Miami game tomorrow if I see this same type of lackluster **** play!

yea...every game we play CLEVELAND we bitch about the refs. You're hard pressed to find us blaming the zebras in almost any other game. See the pattern here?

Allot of our players we're playing "me first" basketball, most notably Arenas, Butler and Haywood...
