1. Antawn Jamison - No question about it. 32 and 14 with good D on Brand. He even passed a bit (3 assists). He had a few offensive boards down the stretch that saved our ass.

2. Nick Young - His offense was fine but not much more than what I expect out of him. I was most impressed with his D. He shut Iggy down when he was on him. Iggy only scored in the open floor. I also like the 4 boards and 2 assists, which for Young, is filling up the box score.

3. Javale McGee - He provided a spark when we really needed it. 6 blocks in 14 minutes is ridiculous.

Honorable mention to Andray Blatche who was effective, if not spectacular.

Jamison
Young
Blatche

Although I really want to give it to Nick because to come in completely cold with no confidence and play that well (AND playing good defense on Iggy) was very impressive.

Jamison - Just incredibly steady and prolific.

Young - Give him credit for working his way out of the funk. Very good body language and confidence all around. He took some tough shots but you could easily see his efforts towards working within the offense. Very impressive and he's known to string good games together too.

McGee - Not unlike Young, he did a great job as far as attitude and enthusiasm. Put in great effort, though his box outs on the glass could have been better. But all told, McGee emphatically showed again why he's an integral component of the Zardo's future. All his faults are correctable and he has the right mentality to do it.

1. Young, for finally having a good, efficient and well rounded game... Also played some amazing D on Iggy!!! (2-10 shooting, 2 TO's)

2. AJ, he's a G...

3. Blatche/McGee... Scary frontcourt on both O & D...

HM; Flip for playing Blatche and McGee together, and starting Young... Too bad McGuire didn't play at SF in that terrible (at times) 3 guard lineup...

For karma fans ... The Wizards will undoubtedly wear some sort of tribute to Abe. They also wore a tribute to Mark Splaver (sic?), a popular PR guy for the then Bullets. That was in 1978. Just saying ...
I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born unto you; he is Christ the Lord.

Write in vote for Abe....this was his team, and his victory.

Otherwise, I am beginning to wonder if we should just create a category for Twan and then everybody else. Geebus - can you imagine where we'd be without him now?
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Shame that a good man has to die for this team to find heart and effort.
