None of our guards are getting it done... Not Nick, not Foye, nor Steve, Gil, Boykins...

I can't figure out why Caron is so bad now. He can't do anything right out there on offense.

I think Gilbert may need another offseason to work on his game in order to get right again.

They are both becoming below average starters. It's crazy. Who could have saw it coming?

At this point, nobody on Washington is worth anywhere near Wallace. Actually, Caron's played pretty good D. Arenas is just playing another lousy lethargic game, and we're not boxing out on the defensive boards. This game is actually worse than the score looks. It's an embarrassment, and if I paid for a ticket - I'd ask for my money back.

At what point do Arenas and Flip get on the same page and understand that transforming Gil into a point guard isn't what's going to take this team to the next level?

It's just embarrassing to watch, honestly.

Ugh. Butler with another TO.

This is a game where you need the old Gilbert.

I've seen better efforts in 40+ over rec games. Pathetic. I'd bring in a brand new five or least keep Young in there. Keep some young legs, but get the medioce 3 out there. You definitely can't call them the Big 3 the way Arenas/Butler are playing.

Maybe Butler would start warming up. He's made a few open jumpers.

The problem is the effort on Gilbert's part. It's just not there. He's back to the point where he just doesn't care anymore.

Power OFF. See you guys later. Jeesh, this has been the least entertaining game all year. It isn't even worth finishing.

I don't understand how this team can be so lethargic.

A team doesn't play this poorly because of one singular problem. This is a total team effort (or lack thereof). No rotations on defense, lethargic on offense, absolutely no pride or will to win, etc.

Sad performance.

I've said it before -- even if we miraculously come back to win this game, I won't be impressed because of how poorly we played and how deep of a hole we dug.

Good. Get the bench players in; see how they do.

It is because we're playing a good defense and our offense isn't clicking. They've given up running it, and now they are shot jacking. We don't have the mental strength to beat slumps, or we don't have the confidence in Flip's offense.

Gil looks like a lost school girl...

Butler looks like he had forgot to play...

No one one is making a damn thing...

They've pretty much mailed it in tonight, although credit Charlotte for solid defense.

Flip's answer to the lethargic play was to bench Haywood -the only player actually playing well. And they just forget about playing anything with any resemblance to defense. Chandler's now looking like a superstar offensive player. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. If I'm Sam Cassell, I'd quit my job.

Don't-cha live it? Gil is in the 3rd year of his mega contract. We have been paying premium dollar for nothing & we're on the hook for 3 more. Gilbert has an opt-out clause after 4 years (self inserted) but Ernie did not give the Wizards an option year. Great contract Ernie.
