Where does Shaun Livingston fit into this new equation,..

I really think we should draft Cousins... Keep Livingston...

Bold statement, ErikChowbay023.

FWIW I think Cousins is the best talent and that with what the Wizards already saw with Livingston, that player with Gil and with Cousins is rock solid. I agree in principle with what you are saying, though I bet noone else will step up and say that. Only Livingston's bad knees and contract demands would scare me away. STill, I can't see drafting Cousins first....

As far as drafting Cousins, however, the Wizards can't do that. Wall is so much in demand that the smarter play would be to draft Wall and to trade something else for Cousins.

I would try to trade McGee and the 30 or the 34 for Cousins.
Bye bye Beal.

First off, no way I take Cousins over Wall or Turner. It's gotta be one of those two.

Second, Livingston could still have a role if we really do keep Gil. If we draft Wall, him being a rookie and Gil coming off the injury means a third guard could play 25+ minutes with Nick Young still getting 10-12. Or, if we take Turner and he's a legit 6'7, we could play Turner at the 3 and still start Livingston at the point (although that gets to be more problematic since you'd have 3 ball dominant guys on the floor at once).
