Minnesota owns the memphis pick.

I would rather they grab Rudy Gobert if he is available here. (which in no way will he be)

Is there a reason why Saric and Robinson III haven't cracked your first round?

Saric's representatives have already come out and stated that Saric won't declare this year. Next year.

...Does CJ Leslie have any projectable NBA ability whatsoever? Unproductive, undersized PFs who don't play defense or try seem to be pretty far away from being lottery picks. His efficiency sucked as a Junior in college as well.

Are you buying into the BC strategy of "**** defense and efficiency and really even production in general" or something with your love for him and Nash?

He has an elite first step, fluidity and his shot is workable. He is also not short for a PF just skinny. I think he and Jones III last year are a close match and I expect Jones III to be very good in the NBA

I agree that Dieng will move up the board in a big way. I'm hoping he falls to the notSonics. I'm afraid that Gobert is going to be another in a long line of our wasted big man picks. Damn the Raptors late season winning streak.

Might as well trade down if the Kings considers drafting Dieng at #7.

Re: Dr Positivity mock 04/29/13 - Demps like Kahn ed.

Post#114 » by Dr Positivity » Tue Apr 30, 2013 6:23 am

I've made mocks recently with a "tier" system, where I predict how strongly someone's "draft rank" and media consensus position will be. Then barring positional duplicates or a team I expect to be off the radar from Ford-ian lists, I exhaust the players in those tiers first. Here's my tiers atm

Tier 1
Noel

Tier 2
McLemore, Porter, Oladipo, Bennett, Burke, Len

Tier 3
Zeller, Shabazz, Dieng, McCollum, MCW, Olynyk, Adetekoubo, Goodwin, Adams, KCP, Gobert

Naturally the Sac and Det picks are hard, because if Len is the last tier 2 player left, they likely won't take a C. So I move to Tier 3 and then Dieng, Adetekoubo, Goodwin move up for fit. I could be wrong about Bazz and Zeller being on that tier, but I'm fading the stock for both. Both are getting labeled tweeners which is a killer in the draft. Bazz having athletic concerns and the age lie bad buzz also really hurts. Zeller is also getting called a tweener, the tournament left him swarmed with bad buzz and his skinniness, short arms was bound to get beat on, especially at the combine when he officially measures. Shabazz going below KCP and Zeller going below Olynyk should not be considered a surprise anymore, when it was unthinkable a few months ago. Yet if one looks at what they provide, it's hard to make a strong case why Bazz and Zeller should be above those counterparts.

Wow... if Shabazz drops all the way to #15, there must be some brain dead GMs in this league. Would love him on my Bucks. LOVE.

Is it just me, or on top of Shabazz looking very unathletic, it also looks like he's a bit porky. What are the scouting reports on his leadership/work ethic?

Def not saying I wouldn't want him at 15, but MKE really needs a leader and not another spoiled kid waiting to test free agency at a bigger market.
