I've always thought that game streaming, while not a violation of the rules in most leagues, is hella cheap. I'm about to lose my finals match-up (and $200) b/c my opponent had more transactions to use down the stretch and literally added 13 games this week.
Now there's nothing in my league that says he can't do this so I'll just have to take the loss like a man; I'm just soliciting opinions so I know whether to punch this guy in the mouth when I see him next.

Re: Game streaming - fair or foul?
I think it's unfair when you do it to the extent your friend did, which is why in all leagues I commish (and generally speaking those end up being all the leagues I play in ) I limit transactions to 4 per week and also have a total moves limit (this season it's set at 45).
It really evens the playing field without taking out the strategy involved in streaming...
In the past I had the same thing happen to me ALD and that's really what prompted me to institute the moves per week and total moves rules, it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth when someone goes crazy with add/drops and you only lose because of it...
I also had one year when one guy in our league had over 100 moves... He still managed to lose somehow but boy was that crazy.

Agreed. A weekly transactions cap really is the way to go. 4-7 moves a week keeps things pretty fair.

the best part? to paraphrase the top 2 streamers: streaming is a part of h2h strategy, if you don't like it draft better or go play roto.

Beat this:
I am the 4th place team who hasn't been streaming, and I am in the championship game against one of the streamers. I am gonna beat him without streaming.

I have played in capped and uncapped transaction leagues and can't say that I've ever been burned by serial streamers. However, I do support transactions being capped, it just gets to be ridiculous after a certain point.

It depends on the size of the league. In a deep league it may not even matter. Like others have set, having a weekly cap is the best way to go about it.

Yes, weekly cap plus doing a deep league is a nice combo to take the sting out.

I hate it, max moves per week is a good way to temper it.
