Nurkic

Post#1 » by basementjaz » Mon Feb 15, 2016 8:45 pm

What's a fair proposal for Jusuf Nurkic in a keeper league?
Tough one considering the 3 centre's in Denver & the likelihood of one of them being traded, but just looking for some opinions.
Thanks.

I don't think he has much value as a keeper (maybe another under performing player with similar upside), he is buy low if anything right now, you may want to wait a little bit after all star break to see if he is any better. But in terms of young keepers with potential, someone like Myles Turner would be the bar, and Nurkic is so far below that. There are probably better options on the waiver wire if you are just looking for production this year, lots of up and down centers this year. That is just my opinion though.

I agree with the response above. Nurkic is a buy low player this season and nobody really knows who will get traded between him and Jokic. Just to answer your question, it is hard to gauge his trade value. But assuming it is a keeper league and can afford to wait, maybe you can get him for older players that will likely expire in 3 years or so.
