Salim Stoudamire

Post#1 » by GrandAdmiralDan » Fri Jul 10, 2009 9:23 am

With how my Bucks are so determined to not cross the lux tax threshold, I've never been able to figure out why we signed Salim Stoudamire.

At first I had heard that his 09-10 salary was NG'd, but I've also heard that is just partial, and not fully NG'd.

The whole thing is just strange, especially when you factor in that we signed him on 4/03/09 when our 08-09 season was for all intents and purposes over, but since there was season left we had to pay him still. I have seen/heard that what we ACTUALLY paid Salim for 08-09 was $58,325

Does anyone know all of those exact details?
The details on the contract. I'm not expecting anyone to be able to figure out why the Bucks just decided to waste money like that :)

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."
