First I did not find the proper place where to post this question. You helped me a while ago and I hope you can help me again.Dear Moderator, I would like to enclose a scanned document as I cannot go back on the Forum to 2005.I do not know how to do it as I am not so capable with technology.

We've had a lot of problems with this, and it's not something we can really control completely. We are thinking about disabling completely the read/unread icons to avoid these problems.

Having this issue myself. Been using the "mark all subjects as read" as a workaround. Have you made any progress on the cause ?

Lol. I see Trojans all the time via the advertisers here, this is why you need to turn off Java, Flash and Popups before browsing here. It is not RealGM, it is their advertisers who are infected.

It is but sometimes those trojans or virus's infiltrate and it takes threads like these to find the issue and get the right people to fix em.

What happened to "view first unread posts"? It used to work a month ago. Now it just just takes me to OP. Really makes keeping up with threads difficult. Especially long threads. This seems like an easy fix? Isn't this a basic feature on most forums?

The view first unread post functionality should work by using cookies. If you clear them out you will lose any data about which threads you have read.

I am trying to locate an old post I made, but while I can see a list of results from the "show your posts" section, if I click on "next page" or "search these results" I am told I do not have permission to use the search feature. is it possible for me to use the search feature?

For accounts that are 100 days old does the hold on posting in general NBA forum come off automatically or does it need to be requested?
