Evan Turner 'Was Ready' For Trade In Offseason

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Sep 28, 2013 5:08 am

Evan Turner said on media day that he was prepared for a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers if that was the direction the organization wanted to go.

"[I] was ready, just hoping it was warm," Turner said, smiling.

Turner had his best NBA season last year, but the 76ers have undergone a major rebuild from the 2012-13 campaign.

Turner was the second overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.

I hate how this dude never acknowledges the fact that he is under performing as a 2nd pick.

If Turners trade value wasn't trash he would be gone, so sick of this fraud.

I guess I'm the only one who still sees potential in this guy. Doug Collins was not the best coach for his skill set, here's to hoping the new coach can bring his skill set out and maximize his talents.

As Blazer fan, I wonder what he can provide if we were to go young in a true rebuild. I think he's still a decent SG.

I hate this comment tho, "just hoping it was warm"...
Being a Blazer fan isn't exactly healthy.

Not surprising with the way 76ers are rebuilding. When Jrue Holiday was traded people started speculate Turner was next. Turner has a real chance to have a good season because he will be asked to do more for sure. Also I think Turner is pretty good and just because he isn't a 20 point scorer people want to quickly label him a bust.
I don't think I Trust The Process anymore! :banghead:
We are the originals! We are the Philadelphia 76ers!

He should try to be played as a point guard.

What do you want him to say? 'I try as hard as I can to put the ball in the basket and I'll keep doing that. I apologize for not being as good at doing that as you wanted me to be.'
