Childress simply hasn't been in a good situation for awhile now since he signed with suns. I'm not sure if the pelicans are a good fit because I'm pretty sure they have a good amount of players at his position. I think he still could be a good shooter for a contender like the spurs,thunder,heat etc. He was a good player in Atlanta and you can see that him leaving the nba for Greece hurt his career when he came back.
