Rockets Fire Dean Cooper

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon May 12, 2014 12:25 am

The Houston Rockets have dismissed Dean Cooper as assistant coach.

Cooper was one of the few members of the Rockets' organization dating back to the Rudy Tomjanovich era.

“I had two good stints with the Rockets,” Cooper said. “I’m very proud of the work that I did while I was here.”

Cooper began with the Rockets in 1999 as a video coordinator, eventually becoming an assistant coach on Tomjanovich’s staff.

Clearly, Dean Cooper is to blame for the Rockets' woes.

He must not have liked analytics if his background was looking at the video of what a player has done.

If James Harden wasn't so atrocious on the defensive end, just maybe he'd still have his job.

I still can't believe Howard didn't take this team to Semis. If Popovich had Howard, he would have enough rings for every finger.

If Popovich had Howard, Howard would also have the Spurs. You know, those guys named Timmy, Manu and Tony? Ever heard of them?

Meanwhile Harden is more useless than a dead body on defense. A jizzmat if you will, similar to your name. Harden is absolutely atrocious and teams will expose that defense every chance they get next year. Better put in work this summer James!
