MCW, Oladipo, Burke, Plumlee, Hardaway Headline All-Rookie Team

Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo are joined on the NBA All-Rookie First Team by Trey Burke, Mason Plumlee and Tim Hardaway Jr.

On the All-Rookie Second Team are Kelly Olynyk, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Gorgui Dieng, Cody Zeller and Steven Adams.

Ben McLemore and Pero Antic were honorable mentions that narrowly missed the second team.

It's not by position.

I can live with having two points guards or even two shooting guards to locked down the two available spots at PG and SG on the NBA All-Rookie First Team, but four guards total on the NBA All-Rookie First Team? That's a pretty bad way to bend the rule.

Im a knick fan, and Hardaway shouldnt have been a all rookie first team. should of went to steven adams tbh

Not a single all-star out of these 10 players. MCW isn't bad, but his numbers are grossly inflated and the competition at PG is extremely tough.

Yeah Trey Burke didn't do nothing and isn't better than Carter-Williams at anything, so he shouldn't even be on same NBA 1st team, they should only have the 1 PG who is vastly superior, so dude is right, Burke should be on 2nd team. The votes were in and they made it a point to say Carter-WIlliams was the best one, and had most votes for team by long shot because that is how big of a land slide it is between him and everyone else! So they are saying he is in a class of his own, and since Burke is no where near his class, I can't see why they would put him on same 1st team, he wasn't even in top 2 for guards among rookies.

I just can't believe they would let Burke join in on Carter-Williams or Oladipo's NBA 1st team.

This entire rookie class was deserving of an "honorable mention". Might even leave off the honorable part.
