Jordan Admired How Stephenson 'Takes On Challenges'

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Oct 29, 2014 3:06 pm

Michael Jordan believes Lance Stephenson could be the missing piece for the Charlotte Hornets to take the next step as a championship contender.

"One of the reasons why I admire his game is he takes on challenges," Jordan said Tuesday. "For us to get any place in the East, we need someone to challenge LeBron. He challenged LeBron."

Stephenson has vowed "to calm down and be more focused."

Jordan will give Stephenson some freedom to be himself.

"If I feel like he's going the wrong way, that is when I will step in, like most parents do, and say, 'Look you need to focus on this and think about that,'" Jordan said.

If Jordan can get in his ear to better his overall game and drive to win, Stephenson could become a basketball monster! Great to see the Hornets finally achieve relevancy.

He has the most entertaining Season Top 10 Plays that I've ever seen.

I don't think any player's in the league is more exciting.

He will be a monster next to Kemba. They are going to be an awesome duo.

I also endorse this signing... Shows how Jordan has taken the right steps as an owner, how Kemba's game has developed, and their success, especially when they signed Jefferson to a big deal. I think the only thing left is for them to cut down Henderson's minutes and let MKG play more. Looking like a strong team this yr.

That was awesome. Jordan could have just said, "I admire his Top 10 Youtube video."

Just watched the link you posted. Dude is nasty as hell. Surprised there wasn't more free agent interest for him. On a side note, i think half of the plays are from the same Knicks game. Sucks to be a Knick fan.

Lance Stephenson is the most likeable player in the NBA.
Nobody has a better attitude than this guy.
Lance is the hardest working player in the NBA + he has the killer instinct.
Bad shooting night but 13 rebounds and 8 assists, doing MJ proud.
Lance is the feel good person of the year.

A big deal? Money wise perhaps but he's only got 2 years left. You'll have to resign him if you want to get closer to the finals.

It really does but unfortunately Stephenson playing so well against us for one game is not even a significant reason why it sucks lol.
