The Miami Heat have signed Michael Beasley to a 10-day contract.

Beasley was previously playing in China.

No reason to give up really - as a backup to Bosh and McRoberts, he is a good fit. I don't think we can get him to sign long term though. This will be just a rest of season deal if the 10 day works out.

Good signing. He fills a big hole and knows the system. If he can prove to be a little more mature this could work out very well for Miami.

Beasley wasn't drafted in 2010, he was drafted no 2 overall after the Bulls selected Derrick Rose in 08. Beasley was traded in 2010 so that the Heat could have cap space to sign Lebron

wow heat are a true contender now!

Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.

Yep. Good call. That took like a 5 second google search to confirm. Come on Realgm.
I think Beasley is good if he stays clean. Remember the guy averaged almost 20 points and 6 rebounds per game with the Timberwolves. Then he started rolling doobies again...
