Hassan White Suspended One Game By NBA

Hassan Whiteside has been suspended one game by the NBA for elbowing Kelly Olynyk in the back of the neck.

Whiteside will serve his suspension on Wednesday when the Miami Heat host the Brooklyn Nets.

"I feel terrible about it," said Whiteside. "I feel like I let my team down. It can't happen again. I just want to apologize to everybody."

Erik Spoelstra also addressed the incident.

"We're not turning our back on Hassan," he said. "He's a family member. We're going to correct this with him and move forward.

Hassan White has anger issues. He started a fight with Alex Len a couple days ago by draping his arms over him like a hug or something after a dunk.

Whiteside is a hell of a good player....

The Celtics would love to have him...We need some muscle underneath just to keep the other teams honest...

Had we had Whiteside last night, Dwane Wade would have paid the price for that cheep shot he took on Isiah Thomas..

Whteside is a KG type player.....

Why would anybody want to be a "KG type of player" Attitude wise?

Because his passion and heart alone is something that fires up the crowd and inspires teammates... Why wouldn't you want someone with that kind of fire on your team

Suspended one game really? ADD the FINE!!! Clearly Alex Len didnt deserve a higher fine than this guy & he strikes again 7 days later... someone forgot to take their pills!!!

He forearmed Olynyk in the back of the head/neck area. that's not a good look at all. HOnestly shouldve gotton another game or two. If KO wouldve been injured with a neck injury, he would've been out the rest of the year with a complete suspension. He's lucky Olynyk got right back up. Neck and any type of spinal injury is no joke. Way more potential for long term damage than any kick to the nuts.
