Klay Thompson Diagnosed With Concussion

Klay Thompson has been diagnosed with a concussion.

Thompson was hit in the head by Trevor Ariza during Game 5 and developed symptoms that evening.

Thompson won't return to the court until he's cleared by league protocol.

He took a direct shot to the head as a perfectly executed flying knee kick. I've seen the same move by Thai kickboxers. If you watch the replay it's obvious that there was no reason for Ariza to bring his knee up than to make contact with Klay's head. There should be a big fine and suspension on that blow.

I really dunno, concussions are so unpredictable. He could be out 2 days or 3 weeks, you never know with head injuries

he never came back into the game. came back to the sidelines. never was put back in though.

Yeah man, I heard it was all LeBron's idea back in the day to have this NBA Concussion Protocol. And before the Warriors-Rockets Games 4 & 5 he had a movie night with all the Rockets players, showing them these brutal martial arts movies like The Raid and Ong Bak where people keep getting kneed in the face. LBJ was even at Game 5 and you can see him looking at Ariza like the bad coach in Karate Kid, but instead of "sweep the leg" it was "knee the face" so he could get Klay out for good.
