Sam Mitchell To Become Interim Head Coach Of Wolves

Sam Mitchell will be elevated to interim head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves as Flip Saunders battles cancer.

Sanders was diagnosed with treatable Hodgkin's Lymphoma in August.

Mitchell was last a head coach in 2008 with the Toronto Raptors and joined the Wolves as an assistant coach last season.

I don't know about that well-groomed beard. Ever seen when Popovich grows his face? Now that's a beard that says "i'm way too busy strategizing to make this thing look appropriate."

Yeah you're right, a clean shaven or well groomed man must spend so much time maintaining his beard that he must not have enough time to coach well. :noway:
