Knicks Told Hiring Scott Brooks Could Impact Kevin Durant's Decision

The New York Knicks have been informed that their chances of landing Kevin Durant this summer would be influenced by hiring Scott Brooks as head coach.

Brooks remains available after his firing after last season by the Thunder.

The Knicks' chances with Durant are slim and they took a hit with their firing of Derek Fisher.

Phil Jackson has no prior experience working with Brooks, who also doesn't run the triangle.

I really think that David Blatt is the best option right now.

As long as Melo gets his shots, he'll be fine. And the Knicks have no hopes of recruiting KD. It is really a joke that people think they can make that happen.

If Phil coached the Knicks every free agent would want to play for the Knicks. Don't kid yourself, Phil commands the respect that only a coach with 11 rings can.
