Rajon Rondo Meets With Bulls

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jul 1, 2016 11:41 pm

Rajon Rondo met with the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Rondo is a free agent after spending one season with the Sacramento Kings. Rondo is not expected to return to Sacramento.

The Bulls have a vacancy at point guard following the trade of Derrick Rose.

The Bulls must want to tank this year. Rondo is poison.

You know, I really hope that is the reason because I really dislike this move.

I think Rondo is a decent player, but although I have read it comes from some sort of high intelligence and the ego that arises from it, his attitude and antics sometimes make me not really back him as a player.

this could possibly work. Rondo would have some nice shooters around him. Rondo just needs to be put in the right system and be on a playoff team to be productive.

1) The Bulls DO want to tank this year. Just look at the roster. They only have 2 proven starters, and assuming Taj gets traded, Robin Lopez is their 2nd best player. Let that sink in for a moment...

2) I like the signing if it happens. Rondo is an elite passer, elite defender (when he actually tries), and elite rebounder from the PG position. The Bulls are a shell of a team right now, and he's the only FA I've heard them rumored to be interested in.
