82 points? Clearly the NBA wasn't enough of a challenge for him.

Well, in the CBA he can average close to that :)

So... Is he already considered a bust? Or is this a tricky move by Ainge to keep him overseas for an extra year?

Nah, it's just a minutes thing. Guerschon would be pretty low in the rotation in an already crowded Front Court in Boston. He's a young kid with fundamentals, but could work on his basketball IQ a bit. Playing overseas for a year should help in long term.

82 points a game and he only got $1.5M per year overseas? What a steal!

Seriously though this guy is gonna really benefit from the year off... See you next summer Guerschon!

No one wanted to trade for Celtics' picks

They traded two of their picks in this draft. Unless you mean the third pick, which means no one wanted to trade a star for the Nets pick.

He needs to learn to go to his left. He only shoots with his right. His ticket to productivity in the NBA will be his offense. He scored only 11.3 pts/36min in Vegas. Not good enough. He'll need to fix the problems in his game in China, an emerging league.

That was definitely an underwhelming trade, 2nd rounders, for what?

2 second rounders for 1 future first round pick.

It's a "trick" move by Ainge. But Yausele isn't that great anyways. Kind of a Jared Sullinger version 2.0.

But yeah the Celtics have a roster crunch with the max only being 15 players. So this allow them to let him develop, push his rookie contract down the road a year, and keep him off the official roster numbers to have more players on their team. All for a rookie who mgiht of actually seen some minutes at backup PF but there are plenty of people on the roster (Crowder, Kelly O, Jerkabo) who can take those minutes and probably produce just as much.

And 2019, that's very very underwhelming.

If this is overwhelming, what was the Minny KG and Seattle Allen trade like?

Obviously they're stashing him overseas. The Celtics have way too many players and not enough roster spots.
