Stacey Augmon is close to joining the Milwaukee Bucks' coaching staff.
Augmon worked with the Bucks' Summer League team this year.
Augmon has spent the past five seasons as an assistant for UNLV.
Augmon had hoped to be considered for the UNLV head-coaching job after the departure of Dave Rice and expressed "disappointment" to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he was passed over for the job. The position first went to Chris Beard, then was given to Marvin Menzies after Beard lasted only a week before taking the job at Texas Tech.
